What is Energy Healing?
Energy Healing is a form of therapy that channels White Light Frequency or Prana (Life Force) Energy to assist in promoting the flow of energy & healing within the etheric or energetic body that exists within all of us. This etheric & energetic body co-exists with our physical bodies simultaneously & will have a direct effect on each other. Energy Healing is a gentle, pleasant non-invasive holistic healing system that can help restore balance & harmony within the body by assisting in the healing process, thus, allowing you to be able to shift physcial, mental, emotional & energetic blocks for your overall well-being & self-healing. This may assist in preventing issues before they manifest in the physial body. Energy Healing can assist in stimulating a persons natural healing mechanism, thus promoting better health. This holistic healing technique may be used to complement conventional services & is safe for everyone regardless of age or health concerns. By transferring positive energy to another person can bring benefits to the mind, body & soul
What to Expect in a Energy Healing Session
During an Energy Healing session, Clients remain fully clothed & will be asked to lay on their backs on a treatment table. A client is not expected to do anything except relax, clear & open their mind & enjoy the experience of the healing session. Depending on the type of Energy Healing session, the therapist or practitioner may lay their hands or healing tools gently on different areas of the clients body as they channel the healing energy, or they may just gently hover their hands over the clients body as the healing energy flows.
During an Energy Healing session clients may begin to have varying sensations or experiences, such as, feeling a tingling or warm sensation throughout their body, they might feel as if they are floating or their body may feel very light, they may even feel a heaviness within their body. It is also not uncommon for clients to have spontaneous muscle jolts or see colours & visions. Often some clients may have a release of emotions such as laughing or crying, this is perfectly alright and welcomed. However, every client is different & experiences will differ every time. Some clients may not experience anything, but whether or not they do, the energy they are receiving is still working and the client will only take what they require for healing in each session.
After an Energy Healing session, clients are encouraged to drink lots of water & relax as much as possible. Some clients may also experience a change in their sleep patterns, they may feel that their energy levels have increased or they may feel tired. Some clients may also experience some healing reactions (such as, headaches, nausea, fatigue or be highly emotional) during the next 24-48 hours following an energy healing as the body prepares itself for healing
